Rose Wanderlust

Ciao!

Have you ever reached a point in your life, where you're just like, what the hell is really going on??
I usually get those moods in November and December and you might ask why. School, responsibilities, tests, life in general...I have learned in the past 17 years that change is good, whether it's good or bad. You are always able to adapt to certain differences and embrace them. Questionable, but amiable.
Ten years ago, I had ashy blonde/brown hair. Five years ago I had red hair. Last year I randomly decided to become a blondie, but I had orange hair at first. And now? I decided to go back to black. Kidding! I can't event tell what kind of hair colour I have at the moment. Something between light brown and ashy blonde...and I've also cut my hair. Short hair don't care, right?
I've pranked my friends three times this year, saying I've cut my hair short - and when I actually do it, they don't believe me!

Back to my responsibilities. I have an important math test on Friday and I planned on studying for the whole weekend, day and night. It's currently 9pm and I haven't accomplished anything.
I'm not so sure what this post was going to be about, probably because I'm feeling super hyped about life in general. So yeah, I just wanted to let you know that I've cut my hair. I bought some pretty awesome stuff today, expect another post tomorrow noon!

If you follow me on instagram, then you already know that I visited Sweden!
Me and my friend Ana visited Stockholm and we fell in love with it. We were there for four days, walking everyday for about 9 hours to get the best possible experience.

Stockholm's architecture reminds me of European's architecture - everything is old and lovely.
The city is actually built on many islands, so it's known as the Scandinavian version of Venice. I'd like to mention the hospitality and kindness! Every time me and Ana (apparently) looked lost, someone would notice us and asked us if we need any help. Shoutout to a random grandma who actually walked with us to the museum!

Have I mentioned how sunny it was? It brightened your day immediately, as soon as you stepped outside. It was a bit cold at times, but we're used to it. One bad thing about Stockholm is that everything is expensive. Well, for me it wasn't that big of a difference, but if you're coming from the US or some place that isn't Europe, you might find the prices strangely high.
We didn't eat a lot because we were saving money, so I usually ate three bananas, two apples a sandwich and a soup in one day.

We were staying at Interhostel, which was a pleasant hostel. You had free coffee and tea every morning, otherwise you had the whole kitchen to yourself. While me and Ana were making instant soups for dinner (Ramen), some other guests were making dinners as if they were working in a 5-star restaurant. Luck was with us at all times, because we were placed in a room with four other girls. We arrived at 2am on the 15th of October and I think we woke everyone up. We actually arrived at 11pm and then we had a bus which took us from Skavsta airport to Stockholm. I woke up at 1am when everyone was 'jumping out' of the bus and then it took us nearly an hour to find the hostel - thought the hostel was only 10 minutes away! I hate google maps.

As I was saying, we were in a room with four other girls. For some reason, every night a different Chinese (or Japanese) girl came and they all slept in the same bed - which left us confused. You would say goodnight to a girl with a red suitcase and then the next morning she was gone, which was normal. After exploring for the whole day you would come back to the hostel, to your room - and there was the same girl (or so we thought) with a blue suitcase, sitting on the same bed!
Anyhow, we met this crazy funny dutch girl Pam! She's from The Netherlands, but studies in Finland and she's currently traveling (right now I think she's in Russia). She has a blog too and you should check it out!

The summary of this post is: I wanna live in Stockholm someday, it's my favourite city. I actually prefer it to London. I like the vibe in the city, no one's rushing, and everyone is dressed so elegant.

I swear to you that I'm not a chameleon, though my skin looks different in every picture!
Anyhow, I'm going for a lunch with my dad so I decided that I'm gonna make myself look pretty today. I mean, I'm pretty confident with my "no-makeup" look, I just love using makeup! I've been sick to death for the past two days. I drank 8 cups of tea yesterday (am I British now!?), so I figured out that I should move the microwave into my room.
I'm currently thinking my room theme - which isn't fall. Is it okay to use candles? I mean, it's almost October which mean it's almost November which mean it's almost halloween..
Overall, I've been doing okay-ish. I've been reading quite a lot, about two books a week! My current favourites are the highlander romance stuff or just historical romance books in general. I read them on my iPad, though I haven't payed a cent for them (yes, I'm a pirate. I download that stuff. Why? I'm broke!). My next goal is to read the whole Harry Potter series! My current favourite books are: The Selection (series), Outlander, The Guardian (Margaret Mallory), Bloodlines (series by Richelle Mead), His Stolen Bride (Shelly Thacker), The New Girl(series, Tracie Puckett). Here are some books I am going to read very, very soon: Harry Potter, Fantastic beasts &where to find them, Stone and the Sea (A.L.Jackson), Kiss Deception, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Rest Falls Away, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Red Garden (Alice Hoffman), Paper Towns, Georgiana Darcy's Diary (Anna Elliot), Reached (Ally Condie), Love Beyond Time (Bethany Claire), The big book of time travel.

Speaking about makeup! If you want to see my current favourite makeup products, go and check my new video! Make sure to like and subscribe and please tell me if you have your own youtube account.
Have I ever told you that I absolutely hate wearing jeans? I think blue jeans of any kind make my legs look like I'm a hippo. I always preferred black jeans. Well, I prefer everything that is black. The more you know, haha!

I was also thinking about making a Q&A video. Would ya'll be interested? Please let me know in the comments section :)

G-bye!
