How to get followers | Tips & tricks

Every blogger wants something: readers. We all want to find people, who will find our writing interesting. But each person is unique, and so are his interests. I started blogging two years ago, but since then I've opened a lot of blogs, and closed most of them, due to the lack of inspiration or time.
In years I learned a lot of things, including what is attractive to the visitors and what rules you should follow in order to get recognition.

BLOG DESIGN tips:
- Make your blog looking professional. By that I mean have everything organised.
- Don't use too many fonts. I think three is a maximum.
- Try to avoid fonts that are hard to read - stick to Sans, Arial and other that look like them.
- Don't use to many colours, or even worse, neon or bright colours. People won't be able to look at your blog without stressing on their eyes!
- Use quality pictures (you don't have to own the most expensive nikon in the world, just avoid blurry pictures)

BLOG WRITING tips:
- Honestly, write anything you want to. Do not let anyone tell you what you need to write.
- It's better to have posts with more than 300 words, it looks like you put more effort in it.
- Using labels doesn't really work anymore (at least that's what I read...literally everywhere)
- Everyone has its own writing style, so don't try to have a different one in each post.

WHERE TO FIND FOLLOWERS
- I think that bloglovin is the best for that!
- when you're on bloglovin, find some people with tons of followers (2k+), and then check out their followers
- for starters, it's really good to follow people with less than 50 followers, because they are the ones who usually follow back and respond to your comments

HOW TO GET PEOPLE TO VISIT YOUR BLOG
- find blogs that at interesting, pick the most recent post and read it(!), then comment it.
- the first part of the comment should be telling them what you think about that post(write something from that post so that they'll know that you actually read it)
- in the second part of the comment you say something like 'Would you like to keep in touch? If you follow me on bloglovin, I will definitely follow back' and then post the url of your blog.

But what is the main thing? Keep posting! And always talk to your readers:)
